Meals On Wheels is dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled by supplying them with nourishing food at a nominal cost during a period of need so that residents can remain self-sufficient in their own homes. The service is available to everyone regardless of age, color or creed. The motto of Meals On Wheels is summed up in its motto "Service With Friendship".

La Mirada Disc Golf Club
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club was started in September of 2004 by Jeff Neill and about 29 other local disc golfers. Each player donated $20 to get things going which included this website and some putters with the LMDGC logo. Later they created other merchandise like T-Shirts and Bag Tags some of which are available at the Pro Shop today.
