Love La Mirada
Inspired by the Love Our Cities movement started in Modesto, California, Love La Mirada began with the support of a dozen local church leaders who met together to consider how they might challenge their congregations to partner with other organizations and residents of La Mirada for the good of our city.
La Mirada Tennis Club
The La Mirada Tennis Club, a non-profit organization, has been in existence for over 25 years, and currently have a membership of over 100, most from La Mirada and others are from near-by cities. Our members range from junior tennis to senior tennis players. Our goal is to provide competitive and social tennis for our Club members. Our Club members, in a small unique way, mirror the diversity of our nation. This diversity and the respect for each others differences makes our Club strong.
La Mirada Disc Golf Club
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club was started in September of 2004 by Jeff Neill and about 29 other local disc golfers. Each player donated $20 to get things going which included this website and some putters with the LMDGC logo. Later they created other merchandise like T-Shirts and Bag Tags some of which are available at the Pro Shop today.
La Mirada Bike Path
La Mirada Creek Park, in southeastern Los Angeles County
Coyote Creek Bike Trail
This riverbed bike trail starts/ends in the La Mirada/Santa Fe Springs area and takes you 13 miles-straight to the ocean (Seal Beach)!
