Was wondering if I can post this on the site, or if you have any suggestions. We are in need of donations for my son’s water polo and swim team (La Mirada High). If any family or friends can help please let me know and I can mail or deliver a letter to you directly. If you know of any businesses that will also donate please let me know. It's saddens me that we could lose the program due to funds! Your donation is also tax deductible. Thank you very much in advance. -Veronica Pineda

Good morning! I am not sure if you would be willing to do this but it would mean a lot to myself and my family if you could share my sons End Epilepsy fundraising page. My son Lucas is 5 (almost 6) and he has a very rare form of epilepsy called Landau Kleffner Syndrome. LKS robbed Lucas of his ability to understand spoken language and eventually robbed him of his speech. He stopped talking abruptly in March of 2015 and was put through many tests resulting in being diagnosed with LKS. He has come so far in the past year thanks to a lot of support from friends and family. This is our second year doing the Walk to End Epilepsy and it would mean so much to us if you could share his walk page with the community. Please let me know if it is possible for you to share his page and if so I will send the link to you. Thank you for your time. The City needs to get this barrage of illegal fireworks under control. It has been consistent down Valley View at Foster Road every night since July 04, 2016. This is far more than the "nuisance" the city promised would be controlled following all of the complaints in 2015. The Sheriff’s Department does not have the manpower to stop this. This is a danger to every citizen, Law Enforcement member, Emergency staff and First Responders of our City. If a terrorist explosion(s) occurred in this city how would anyone be able to recognize it over all of the illegal fireworks explosions? This has become far more than a "revenue" issue. This is urgent and it our city government should treat as such. -Loyde Foster

Oh boy, I'm already starting to see those awesome political campaign signs popping up. It's weird how much the city cares when people put up lost pet flyers or yard sale signs but our medians, poles, and fences get decorated with political signs every year. –Wes Brewster
