A Holiday Shopping Spree for needy children will be sponsored by the Rotary Club on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Marshalls in La Mirada.  Rotarians work in conjunction with local schools to identify children in the community who are in need of assistance during the holidays.  The children, assisted by adult volunteers, will select clothing items they need from lists provided by their parents.

The Rotary Club of La Mirada assists with a variety of community service projects throughout the year.  The group meets on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. at the Elephant Bar Restaurant on Firestone Boulevard North in La Mirada.  Visitors are welcome to attend.
