La Mirada (8-11, 2-2), will now have a week to right the ship, before their game against another strong oppponent, Cerritos, this Wednesday, January 20th at La Mirada.

Coach Larry Kaupang knew his team would be more challenging this season (losing Derrick Williams (UOA) and Ryan Kelly), but the team has been rattled by rules infractions by players; leaving the team virtually without a three-point threat (Roger Hamel) and a true point-guard (Matt Porter), among others.

Porter is reportedly set to rejoin the team February 3rd.
