Two fires NOT located at Valley View/Stage Road
A fire broke out on November 1st at the Valley View Square located at the southeast corner of Valley View Avenue and Imperial Highway.
Witnesses say a man became belligerent in the early morning hours at the methadone clinic located within the strip mall and suggested he went behind the buildings and set the fire.

Arson investigators remained on the scene throughout the day. Numerous businesses, including a Verizon cell tower facility had extensive damage. No injuries were reported.
On November 8th, another fire broke out in a box truck that was parked behind the buildings at the Imperial Plaza (13900 block Imperial Highway). The cause is unknown. No injuries were reported.
Thanksgiving Events
On Thursday, November 21, the Foster Road Thanksgiving Dinner & Family Resource Fair will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Foster Road Elementary School, 13930 Foster Road in La Mirada.
On Sunday November 24, the La Mirada Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Temple Beth Ohr, 15721 Rosecrans Avenue in La Mirada.
