Downey~The Red Cross will be paying tribute to local heroes from its service area, that includes the cities of Bell Gardens, Downey, La Habra Heights, La Mirada, Montebello, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Whittier and Unincorporated Whittier for their heroic acts of bravery in saving lives and giving back to their and communities.

The luncheon will feature special guests, elected officials, business leaders and community members.  The event will commence at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7^th. Proceeds from the event support local disaster relief and emergency preparedness efforts.
