Beginning with the preview engagement of Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox starring in the Broadway-bound musical Jekyll & Hyde to Broadway’s favorite musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers; from the door-slamming hilarity of the Tony Award-winning play, Boeing Boeing, to the raw emotion of the Southern California Regional Premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical, Next to Normal; you’ll spend a legendary evening with Hollywood icon Shirley MacLaine and celebrate the holidays with the Winter Wondrettes! First, the season begins with The Pre-Broadway Preview Engagement of Jekyll & Hyde, September 7 – September 30, 2012 with American Idol star and Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis joining the Grammy-nominated R&B superstar Deborah Cox to inject new life into the classic tale of good and evil.
After a four-year run on Broadway and multiple world-wide tours, this dark and dangerous love story from Tony and Grammy Award nominee Frank Wildhorn returns in a stunning new production that includes all the classic songs (“This is the Moment,” “A New Life,” “Someone Like You”) that first grabbed audiences by the throat and helped transform Jekyll & Hyde into a theatrical phenomenon.
Then, get your holiday booty on with the new ‘60s Christmas Musical, The Winter Wonderettes, which runs December 7– December 30, 2012. Created & Directed by Roger Bean, it’s Christmas and the Wonderettes are back! The ladies are entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls must use their talent and creative ingenuity, plus some great holiday tunes such as “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” “Winter Wonderland” and 20 other seasonal favorites, to save their holiday party. The result is, of course, marvelous! This energetic and entertaining show is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
In the Tony Award-winning comedy, Boeing Boeing, a self-styled playboy, Bernard, has French, German, and American fiancées, each beautiful airline hostesses with frequent "layovers.” He keeps "one up, one down and one pending" until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris and Bernard's apartment at the same time, running January 18 - February 10, 2013
Next, “goin’ courting” has never been as much fun as in this brand new revival of the rip-roaring stage version of the popular MGM movie, adapted by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay. Millie is a young bride living in the 1850's Oregon wilderness whose plan to civilize and marry off her six rowdy brothers-in-law to ensure the success of her own marriage backfires when the brothers, in their enthusiasm, kidnap six women from a neighboring town to be their brides. Bursting with the rambunctious energy of the original film, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is all boisterous fun and romance that harkens back to the glory days of the movie musical, playing April 12 – May 5, 2013
